Spiral review
Spiral review is the deliberate return to previously taught skills inside later lessons, so they are practised long after they were introduced.
Structured programs build it in. It is why skipping review lessons is a poor trade and why a skill rated Secure still gets practised.
Why it matters for the record
Your own review list sits on top of the program's spiral: it catches the skills the spiral has not yet returned to.
