You know the curriculum. The hard part is remembering, on a Tuesday in March, exactly where each child is, which sounds still wobble, and what you already covered. That is the part this takes off your plate.

Literacy Trail keeps one roadmap per child through the reading sequence you teach (UFLI Foundations built in, or your own), tells you the next lesson every day, brings back skills that need more practice, and prints a record for your homeschool file. One child is free for as long as you like; the Family plan covers up to 5 children for $9.99 a month, with a 15-day free trial.
A typical morning
- Open Today. Each child shows the lesson they are on.
- Press Start, teach from your manual, and tap Needs support, Developing or Secure.
- If a skill needs another look, it comes back on the calendar without you writing it down.
Made for more than one child
- Up to 5 children on the Family plan, each at their own lesson in their own sequence.
- Siblings can share a curriculum or follow different ones.
- Pause a child for a holiday or a break and the schedule shifts with them.
A record you can hand over
- The instruction log lists every lesson by date, with minutes and ratings, for portfolio reviews or evaluators.
- The progress report shows what is secure and what is still developing, in plain words.
- Everything exports as a file; nothing is locked in.
Privacy for your children
Children never have accounts. You store a first name, an optional last name and grade, and your own notes. Nothing about a child is used for advertising or sent to analytics, and you can delete the account and everything in it from Settings.
