Digraph
A digraph is two letters that together spell one sound, such as sh, ch, th, wh, ck and ee.
The two letters do not keep their individual sounds; they act as one grapheme. Consonant digraphs (sh, ch, th) usually come early in a sequence; vowel digraphs (ee, ai, oa) come later.
Example
The sh in fish, the ck in duck.
