How to use it
- Use a decodable text at the student's current pattern, read three or four times across the week.
- Time one minute, count the words read, and subtract errors. Write both numbers.
- Read the text to the student first if it is new, then let them read it alone.
- This tracks practice on a familiar text. It is not a benchmark and does not compare the student with norms.
